Black suns (2016)

Death. Death wasn’t just a lifeless body, but a language with its own alphabet, and that is the reason for them to be there, to decipher, to hear what she had to whisper.

Captain Arturo Andrade, member of SIAEM (Information Section of the General Staff), is posted to Pueblo Adentro, a small village a few kilometers from his native Badajoz and the center of the anarchist resistance in Extremadura. Unable to appease the demons of the past, Arturo will have to investigate the mysterious murder of a girl. However, the corpse of the child is nothing but the tip of an iceberg leading to the highest spheres of the Regime, from which men work hard to fulfill the peculiar wishes of the powerful.

Arturo and his friend Manolete, a former comrade in arms at the Blue Division, will connect their paths with that of the anarchist Ventura Rodriguez and his family, in a hurry race against the clock with the aim to save the life of a missing girl and uncover the truth.
